On November 5, 2009, the BIP held its annual civic trust awards banquet to honor two individuals and three township businesses for their accomplishments in the Township. The Individuals and businesses honor include:

- Party Warehouse - Civic Trust Award
- 248 Diner - Civic Trust Award
