On November 13, 2008, the BIP held its annual civic trust awards banquet to honor two individuals and two township businesses for their accomplishments in the Township. The Individuals and businesses honor include:
- James Van Horn - Booster Award
- Howard Campbell - Community Service Award
- Tendercare Pediatrics - Civic Trust Award
- Williams Restaurant - Civic Trust Award
