On September 14, 2009, the Business, Industrial and Professional Association of Palmer Township will hold its fourth annual golf outing at Riverview Country Club. Fund raised at this outing will be used to build an outside playground at the Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township. The Business, Industrial, and Professional Association of Palmer Township is a unique business organization in that there is a very close working relationship between business and government in the township. The BIP was established in 1976 when representatives of the business community and members of the Board of Supervisors worked together to form the organization. Since that time the BIP has grown considerably and through it members has been involved in a number of community projects as noted in this site. The Board of Supervisors is very proud of the township's business community and they, in turn, are pleased to be in Palmer and to do their part in enhancing the township. This co-operation between government and business helps make Palmer Township a viable business location. It is our intent that this web site highlight what the BIP is all about and what we can do for the business community.
